Welcome to the Heart of the Kitzbühler Alps - WILDSCHÖNAU

Two cable cars, three chair lifts as well as 20 drag lifts at a height of between 830 to 1900 metres bring together 70 kilometres of ski runs, of which more than 40 kms have snow making facilities. The pistes are well prepared to above the tree line. The top of the mountain is a starting point for wonderful ski tours in open terrain. A 5 km toboggan run, 30 kms of cross country tracks, ski and snowboard schools with kindergarten and all day care, Bobo´s children’s club, the possibility to try alternative types of winter sport, weekly ski shows, night skiing, night tobogganing, cleared footpaths, sleighrides, riding, as well as free bus travel within the valley (with guest card), complete the activities offered for winter enjoyment.

Care for your children

4 ski-schools, each with excellent facilities for taking care of children within the ski area. A specially designed fairytale playground with a magic carpet (an escalator in the snow), a ski merry-go-round, slide, fairytale figures, bouncy castle and an Indian reservation helps the children learn through fun and enjoyment.

Every week there is a children’s Olympics and prize giving. We take care of children from 2 years old, who are still too young to ski, enabling parents to relax and participate in a ski course.
